Participating in such a prestigious biennale as the one in Florence is an incredible opportunity... but sometimes there are quite a few surprises behind the scenes!
I had the honor of participating in the 13th Florence Biennale, which took place from October 23rd to 31st, 2021. Despite the challenges I encountered, it was a remarkable experience.
On April 30, 2020, I received an invitation from the president of the Florence Biennale, Pasquale Celona, to participate in this internationally renowned art event. An incredible opportunity… which, however, quickly turned into a real source of stress!
Between organizing the shipment of my paintings, the cancellation of my flight (and the subsequent hassle of getting a refund), and even the loss of my business cards by the French and Italian postal services, everything seemed to be going against me. Despite my efforts to be there in person, I had to follow the event from afar.
But most importantly? My artwork came back in good condition, and that was a huge relief!
Even from afar, the fact that my works were exhibited in Florence remains an unforgettable memory.
